Awareness Seminar on Climate Change at Chunarughat Pilot Girls’ High School

An awareness seminar on climate change was held at Chunarughat Pilot Girls’ High School in Habiganj district. Students of the school actively took part in the event.

The seminar was organized under the overall supervision of the Acting Assistant Head Teacher, Mr. Sheikh Jamal Ahmed, and was conducted by Change Maker Md. Khalid Hasan.

During the session, were briefly highlighted harmful impacts of climate change such as natural disasters, rising sea levels, loss of biodiversity, and challenges in agriculture—. The discussion also focused on what students can do to tackle climate change in their daily lives.

Later, students shared their own ideas and suggestions, including planting trees, reducing plastic use, saving water and electricity, and raising awareness among others.

The seminar helped increase students’ awareness about climate change and encouraged them to take responsibility in protecting the environment for a better future.
