From grassroots initiatives in Bangladesh to international youth engagement, IYCM encourages young people to move from awareness to action.

The Spark
Our first classroom opens in a Dhaka slum with a single room, 17 children and a whiteboard.
Going Digital
We launch online classrooms, using video technology to connect remote, rural children with qualified teachers.
Youth Mobilization
A youth volunteer wing is founded to empower young citizens to run civic and community campaigns.
National Reach
Schools, learning hubs and volunteer chapters extend to districts across Bangladesh.
Women and Climate
Women’s collectives and climate programmes join our education and youth work.

After the youth-led transition, we help young women step into political leadership.
