Seminar on Tackling Climate Change at Dakshinacharan Pilot High School

International Youth Change Maker (IYCM) organized an inspiring seminar on “How to Tackle Climate Change” at Dakshinacharan Pilot High School, Habiganj.

The session was conducted by Change Maker Md. Khalid Hasan, who has been actively working for climate awareness and sustainable development under the IYCM platform.

Speakers Jahangir Alam Shakil, Md. Mukhlesur Rahman, Saddam Hossain, and Rakibul Alam Chowdhury discussed the global impact of climate change, its risks for Bangladesh, and the vital role young students can play in building a sustainable future.

The idea of forming a Climate Club at the school was shared — encouraging students to engage in tree planting, recycling, awareness campaigns, and local environmental solutions.

Md. Khalid Hasan inspired everyone with his words:

“Climate change is not only an environmental issue; it is a question of our survival. Small steps by each of us can create a big change.”
